PORTISHEAD BAND / ALBUM DUMMY, VINYL COVER 2013
The aim of this project is to communicate the essence of the music album Dummy. To achieve this, I immersed myself in the music, letting it guide my creative process. I experimented with ink, stencil typography, spray paint, and hand-painted elements to visually interpret the album’s atmosphere.
John Cages methodologies in composing and painting inspired me to approach the project in an experimental way. Inspiration was taken from brutal architecture during WW2 as the music gives you the feeling of isolation.
